A: No. The anti-static filter is a critical component, but it must be installed in a properly grounded dust collector system. The filter housing, ductwork, and all conductive parts must be bonded and grounded to a common earth point. The filter provides a conductive path to ground – it cannot work if the housing is not grounded.
Q: Can I use this filter for oily or sticky dust?
