Q: Why use carbon steel powder-coated end caps?
A: Carbon steel provides high mechanical strength at lower cost compared to stainless steel. The electrostatic powder coating adds excellent corrosion resistance, protecting the end caps from moisture, condensation, and mild chemical exposure commonly found in natural gas systems. The coating also improves sealing surface quality and extends service life.
Q: Can the composite media be cleaned and reused?
A: No. Like all high-efficiency coalescer media (including composite), it is not cleanable. Attempting to wash or blow clean will damage the fiber structure and destroy coalescing efficiency. The element is disposable and must be replaced at the end of its service life.
