The Oil Separator Filter Element 154×730 is a high-efficiency coalescing filter cartridge engineered for screw air compressors and industrial compressed air systems. This customized separator filter is designed to separate oil mist from compressed air, recover lubricating oil, and deliver clean, low-oil-content air to downstream equipment.
The graded pore structure first captures larger oil droplets, then coalesces fine oil mist into larger droplets that drain back to the compressor sump. This design maintains low pressure drop, high oil recovery, and stable air quality throughout its service life.

Xinxiang City Huahang Filter Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in industrial filtration, with roots tracing back to 2003. With 20+ years of manufacturing experience, Huahang Filter operates from a modern ISO-certified facility and holds 25 national patents. The company is recognized as a Henan Provincial “Specialized and Sophisticated” SME.

The oil separator filter element is small, but it serves critical equipment.
Small Rotary Screw Air Compressors. The most common application. Compressors in the 5–15 HP range (3.7–11 kW) often use this exact size oil separator.
Refrigeration Compressors. Oil separators in refrigeration systems protect the condenser and evaporator from oil fouling. This size appears in small industrial chillers and refrigeration units.
Vacuum Pumps. Some rotary vane and screw vacuum pumps use oil separators to prevent oil mist from entering the exhaust. This element fits standard models.
Air Dryers and Air Treatment Packages. Some integrated compressor + dryer packages use this separator as a final oil removal stage before the dryer.
Vehicle Air Brake Systems. Heavy trucks and buses with onboard air compressors sometimes use separators of this size to keep brake lines oil-free.

Q: What happens if I don’t replace it on time?
A: Pressure drop increases, wasting energy. Oil carryover increases, contaminating downstream equipment. Eventually, the element can collapse or rupture, dumping oil directly into the compressed air line. That’s expensive to clean up.
Q: Can I clean and reuse this oil separator?
A: No. Oil separator elements are not washable or reusable. The coalescing media is permanently bonded and loses efficiency after oil saturation. Replace with a new element.
Q: What is the typical oil carryover in ppm?
A: Huahang’s elements achieve less than 3 ppm residual oil content when new and properly installed. In many tests, the actual number is 1–2 ppm. This meets or exceeds most compressor manufacturer specifications.
Q: How do I know which orientation (inside-out or outside-in) my compressor uses?
A: Check the housing design. If the element has a gasket on the top end cap and the air flows from inside the core outward, it’s inside-out. If the element sits in a bowl and air flows from outside to inside, it’s outside-in. Huahang can supply both versions. When in doubt, send a photo.
Q: Do you offer a separator with a built-in pressure drop indicator?
A: The pressure drop indicator is usually in the compressor housing, not on the element itself. However, Huahang can integrate a sensing port if your design requires it. Discuss with the sales team.
